Kasuti work has its origins in Karnataka, India. The specialty of this work is that both the front side and the back side of the cloth have the same design. It is a really simple work to do once the basic is understood. You can do it on your sarees, dresses, blouses, table cloths also.
The following figure shows some of the basic design of this work. Using embroidery thread, just follow the numbers given for each of the design.
Finally you can even decorate further using sequeins and mirrors.
