Cross Stitch Sofa Back
Materials Required
Matty Cloth- (Measure the length of your sofa and get the required cloth)
Embrodiery threads of different colours according to the design
Needle
First cut out the matty cloth in shape as desired for the sofa.
Count the total number of holes and arrive at the centre to begin the design.
Start doing cross stitch with counting as per the design. Change colours as required in the design.
Crochet the border of the cloth to give it a neat finish.
Photo Frame
Black chart paper (thick type)
Thick transparent sheet
Gold colour paint
Kundans, Zardosi and other decorative items
Glue
Thick thermocol sheet
Place any photo on the chart paper and draw a outline. Draw another outline with an extra 1" gap.
Now cut three pieces of chart paper in this measurement. Three more pieces must be cut with an extra 1 1/2" outline.
In the pieces with 1" extra outline, measure 1 1/2" from all four sides and cut out the inner square.
Now, stick the thick transparent sheet to cover the cut area in all the three pieces.
Cut three pieces of thermocol of the same size and stick it to the above pieces on three sides, leaving the upper side open for inserting the photos.
Cover up the back side of the thermocol with the three pieces having extra 1 1/2" outline. All three pieces must be joined at an angle as shown in the finished photo frame.

Sequeins and any other decorative items
Thin plastic sheet
Firstly draw the required design on the paper plate if it is a plain plate or else cut a white paper into the shape of the plate and draw the design on it.
Apply fevicol and start sticking the beads and sequeins in various colour combinations in the design.
Finally, cover the paper plate with plastic sheet so that the beads dont fall out and dirt doesnt accumulate on it.
It can be used as wall hangings and it also gives a nice look if placed on dining tables.

Pot Painting
Pots or any mud vessel
Pearl colours or any fabric colour
BrushVarnish
First clean the mud vessel or pot well and let it dry.
Draw the design of your choice on it and start painting.
Once dry, apply a layer of varnish to it to give it a shine and a long life.
It serves as a good gift and small pots can also be used as candle stands.
